Some of the points he raises in this article have been a concern of mine for years. I am against any kind of discrimination. He 'derailed his train' when he said that 'gender tests - the investion of the West to keep away African from competitive sports...". These tests have been carried out over the years, as a normal procedure, irrespective of the athlete being of a specific colour. If you look at her on TV, her facial features are those of a male and her voice is very deep for a female. There were white athletes stripped of their medals before due to the same problem. Please do not make everything a racial issue. I have a lot of sympathy for her, but in this case, this is not a racial problem. She should never have been sent to compete before all tests were run and conclusive results achieved. Maria Helena
